It all started with The mandates and gifts Christ left for us…

“And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.” Ephesians 4:11-16

Ministry work is an important mandate from God. He has charged us with spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In order to do this important work, we must be equipped in love, wisdom, faith, obedience, giving, and so much more, but most of all LOVE.

What we do inside the Church determines our effectiveness outside the church. Every believer is called to be an “Agent of Change”, to bring The LIGHT, which is Jesus Christ, into the dark places of life and the world. Through us God’s loving heart shines brightly.

The Tabernacle Church St. Louis is committed to equipping the saints for the work of ministry. We thrive on the Word of God so that we may walk circumspectly before Him. Studying the Word, Applying the Word to our lives, Trusting and believing God in full obedience, are how we become equipped. We have to STAY READY for what God wants us to accomplish in the earth before Jesus returns…. So Let’s Get to Work.
